Far-Right German MEP's Manager Has Ties To Nazis, and Thinks Russia and the US Should Invade Canada

Since 2023, Canada has had the misfortune of having to host fascist politician Christine Anderson, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the far-right German party Alternativ fur Deutscheland, who is widely regarded as one of the most pro-Russian sitting MEPs in all of Europe.  This is a politician who has refused to support naming Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism , and demanded in the past that Germany withdraw sanctions on the Russian Federation and pull out of NATO.  According to VoteWatch.eu, Anderson had one of the most pro-Russian voting records out of sitting MEPs from 2019-2023. Why Are Ukrainian-Canadians Protesting Dimitri Lascaris?

       Over the past month, Ukrainian-Canadians have been protesting a speaking tour of a man who visited Russia and occupied Ukraine and returned to Canada to speak on his experiences abroad, simply for the crime of wanting peace. Or at least, that's what he really, really wants you to think. Who is this man, and why are Ukrainian-Canadians and antifascist activists protesting him?        Dimitri Lascaris is a lawyer and self-professed "ecosocialist" activist and journalist who was a former leadership candidate for the 2020 Green Party of Canada leadership race and made it to the eighth and final round of voting in a 50-42% vote.
